Over 7,000 Captains Recommended Services

Jean Jarreau

For our guides, we continually research and get feedback from many of the industry's top professional yacht Captains and crew, in order to create an 'Inside Guide' of their own personal recommended services for any cruising destination or yachting base around the world.

We only list the services for whom we have received consistently good positive feedback. This wealth of information will help ‘fast track’ yachtsmen to the most effective, efficient and reliable services and contacts available.

The Loro Piana Caribbean SuperYacht Regatta & Rendezvous 2017 took place from 10-13th March in the beautiful British Virgin Islands, at the newly redeveloped Yacht Club Costa Smeralda - Virgin Gorda.

18 stunning superyachts & their crew graced the British Virgin Islands, from the mighty Perini Navis Perseus 3 & P2, Q the 51.8m Alloy Yachts ( ex Mondango II), the 4 sleek Nautor's Swans 115 Shemanna , Highland Fling 15, Freya & B5, Leopard 3 with her exceptional racing reputation, the beautiful modern classic Pendennis Shipyard Ltd built Rebecca and well known 23.2m W-Class Yacht Company, Wild Horses who has competed in more than 160 yacht races, to the 34.13m Baltic Yachts Nilaya, returning to defend her 2016 title at this Regatta!

Well she's done it again…for a second consecutive year, high performance yacht Nilaya came first in class A & was awarded the Boat International Media Trophy!

The 38m P2 with her signature cannon firing only just won Class B, competitively pursued by the large 46m Vitters Shipyard Ganesha coming a close second. 27.71m Freya won Class C for a second consecutive year, the largest of the 4 classes with 6 yachts; 60m Perseus 3 dominating to win all races in Class D.

This has become a very popular regatta for owners and crew; after three days of spectacular conditions, interesting varied racing on well set out courses, and the traditional superb hospitality from the regatta management team & YCCS Clubhouse & Marina Virgin Gorda, BVI, many are now in St Barth's for the 30th edition of the St Barths Bucket Regatta; 38 yachts from 30-88m will battle it out for the historic Bucket Trophy, including a record six J-class yachts
